The University of Miami's Net Price Calculator (or financial aid calculator) is a tool to help you and your family plan for college.

The calculator will estimate your financial need and merit awards based on prior year tax data. Estimates are based on financial aid award policies for the 2019-2020 academic year and are subject to change.

Before you get started, please read the information below and confirm that you have read and understood the information. You will then be guided through each step.

  • Your estimate is meant to help you plan your educational financing at the University and is based on the information you provided in this calculator.
  • This calculator is intended for full-time students who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents.
  • This estimate does not represent a final determination (or actual award) of admission, financial assistance, or final net cost. Estimates are based on cost of attendance and financial aid provided to students in 2019-2020.
  • This estimate shall not be binding on the Secretary of Education, the institution of higher education, or the State.
  • Complete the required admission and financial aid materials, including the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and CSS Profile, in order to determine your final eligibility for grants, loans, or work-study.
  • If your family has special circumstances, contact the Office of Student Financial Assistance and Employment after submitting your FAFSA and CSS Profile for an individual review of your award.
  • We are pleased to be able to offer funding to our students. For our full-time students enrolling for college for the first time in 2019, 70% received grant or scholarship aid.
